Restoration of an extremely beautiful and rare dagger in the "Stiletto" style. The dagger was in very poor condition, covered in corrosion, dirt and rust. It was found among things in the attic of an old house that was planned to be demolished. It is a family heirloom of the person who gave it to me for restoration, so I tried to make the result as perfect as possible. The dagger is made of brass, steel and the handle is made of Bakelite. A beautiful and mysterious pattern was carved on the surface. What can it mean? I think this particular dagger is made to order, because it has noticeable handmade details. Presumably, such vintage daggers were once used to open letters. They were also used as decoration in the house. Before the restoration, the dagger looked very mystical and unique.
