Hilleberg Nammatj is a tent I’ve been using over 30 years. This is a 4 season tent from the Black label tent family of the Hilleberg tents. This is an extreme winter camping tent for extreme environments like wind exposed mountains. But, it’s also a tunnel tent that works fine during summer tours even though it’s a little bit overkill for a hiking trip in the forest. If you compare the weight of the Nammatj tents with other extreme winter tents then it’s not heavy. We use the Hilleberg Nammatj 3 GT as the tent for our guests during our dog sled and winter camping trips. We also use it if we go by our self in these conditions or if we go canoeing and don’t need to carry our gear. If you have to choose one all season tent the choice is simple, then the best four season tent is Hilleberg Nammatj because then you know you will survive during all weather conditions as well as extreme winter storms high up in the mountains. Hilleberg Nammatj comes in different sizes: Hilleberg Nammatj 2, Hilleberg Nammatj 3, Hilleberg Nammatj 4 that have a small vestibule. And with the big vestibules you have the Hilleberg 2 GT, Hillberg Nammatj 3 GT and Hilleberg Nammatj 4 GT.
