Have you ever wondered "What Happens When You Pass Your PhD Exams" or "What's it Like Being a PhD Candidate"? Well today in my UCLA Grad School Vlog I am taking you through what happens after passing comprehensive exams! These "day in the life," "week in the life," or in my case "month in the life" videos of grad life will hopefully help you understand how grad school COULD look like when you are not in classes, work or meetings. I think far too often we create images of a "perfect" grad student... But the reality is the constantly studious hard working "perfect" grad student just doesn't really exist. WE all are human and so sometimes we experience burn out, confusion, loss of motivation and a desire to have FUN!!! Hopefully little snippets of my life can help demystify what it's like to be a PhD student. ON LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: As I continue to work to be a better person, I want to make sure the work and creative project I make are never at the expense of others.
