Tempelman B.V. has commissioned a new Scania, fully equipped to operate safely and with optimal visibility. Transport of heavy equipment: The third-generation family business from Markelo specialises in drilling, sawing and milling concrete and other stone materials using diamond tools. To transport this heavy equipment safely to job sites, the new Scania has been added to the fleet. Working safely on public roads: A significant part of Tempelman B.V.’s activities takes place on public roads. For this reason, Van Berkum Bodybuilders was engaged to deliver a high-quality body construction that enhances both employee safety and the truck’s visibility. Bodywork by Van Berkum: Van Berkum has equipped the Scania R410 with a range of functional upgrades, enabling safe transport of heavy machinery while improving ease of operation. Reinforcements have been added to the load bed for transporting the concrete milling machine, hose reels have been integrated behind the side skirts, and the side door features a fold-out access step. The vehicle’s appearance has also been upgraded: new side skirts, storage boxes and professional paintwork ensure the Scania is both presentable and ready for years of reliable service. Enhanced safety with TRALERT® lighting package: As many of Tempelman B.V.’s operations take place both during the day and at night on and around public roads, high-quality lighting and signalling are essential. As Van Berkum’s fixed lighting partner, TRALERT® supplied a fully certified lighting solution. Visibility is ensured by the MV-4500 series LED warning flashers installed around the vehicle, alerting other road users to work situations. In addition, a comprehensive work light package has been fitted to provide optimal illumination around the vehicle for the driver.
