Alright, so I'm gonna cut right to the chase. Does anyone actually know the difference between Game A and Game B here? For the life of me, I just cannot figure it out. Couldn't figure it out when playing. Couldn't figure it out when editing. Can't figure it out when writing this description. It's such a simple game... you'd figure there's no real way to hide away some mechanical difference that can't be observed easily. I just don't get it. And after watching that video about 10 times trying to see a difference, I refuse to look it up, haha. What's the point of having a YouTube channel if you can't ask your friends for help? So, onto the gameplay.... well, Donkey Kong is pretty much what you'd expect. You'd be hard-pressed to find a game that more people understood than Donkey Kong, so I'm not going to patronize you in the description here. What I will say is it holds up pretty well as far as games from that time go, and regardless of how easy it is for me to clear those three levels once more, it's always still a little bit fun. What it really makes me want to do is play more developed versions of this concept though. One game that reminds me of this is Spelunker. It's been a long time since I've played it, but if I remember correctly it's got the same style of "You get one jump of one size to get you through and not much else." However, the big difference is that it's a large explorable map with more types of obstacles and traps. It's really fun and has a catchy as hell tune from what I remember, but even while being different still gives the same type of experience (at least in my experience). But that's not all folks! This cart's got two parts, and the former may be known more, but the latter's not necessarily badder (ick). It's more fresh, but less iconic, like comparing Super Meat Boy to Sonic. A welcome tradeoff? Let's see! Thanks for stopping by friends. I hope you enjoyed the video. I'm having a lovely end of the year over here, and I wish the same for all of you. Here's to 2021!! 🍾🍾 💛 Squiggs --[ Wikipedia Information ]-------------- Donkey Kong Classics is a video game collection of the Donkey Kong series, consisting of the games Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. This compilation is for the Nintendo Entertainment System, which was developed by Nintendo EAD. It was released on October 1988 in the US, three years after the original release of the NES, and August 10, 1989 in Europe. It was never released in Japan. Nothing has changed in gameplay and modes. The only difference is the title screen. It is now a blue color, and the player can switch between the two games and the single and multi-player modes from there. They are exactly the same as the NES versions of the games. --[ Series Information ]-------------- Squiggy Seven: First Impressions is a series where I blind review random NES games in an effort to learn more about the hidden classics on the system. I have gotten into retro collecting for the NES and I am on the hunt for those games I've never played that I'm missing out on. #NESReviews #NES #JackieChan You can find the full playlist for Squiggy Seven: First Impressions here: • 【Metal Fighter】 NES Game Blind Reviews | S...
