BRAND NEW Capitol Traction Elevators - The Exchange Hotel - Sacramento, CA

[Recorded 10-18-21] This is the brand new Exchange Hotel in downtown Sacramento! This hotel opened up in the historic former California Fruit Building. This was originally an office building and these elevators were installed by Pacific Elevator Company (PEECO). They were most likely manually controlled. These received a KONE mod with Innovation prior to the building's conversion to a hotel. Capitol Elevator completely replaced these elevators, and they did a super awesome job. This is the kind of pride I like to see with local companies around here. They even kept the original dial indicators in the lobby...and they work!! They have had their needles replaced but they have otherwise been nicely restored. These elevators now feature a new line of ERM which I haven't seen before. They look nearly identical to Innovation Pinnacle, but they're slightly wider and have the same mushy push that all ERM fixtures have. This is a super nice hotel and I'm glad this building is finally being put to good use again.
