Throughout 2024, David Zambrano undertakes a project to support improvisation research by creating a new residency program at Tic Tac Art Centre: Silo Solo Solamente 2.0. He has invited more than 18 artists to create solo performances within one week, using only their bodies as a complete manifestation of their imagination. No props, music equipment, or lighting design are allowed, except for their body movements and sounds. It is a raw solo performance, improvised or set. Carla Parcianello was the first artist invited to the program. In this project, she presented a 30-minute solo based on her improvisation score, 'Doors.' The research question was how to compose together the large amount of material she gathered during the week of residency. 'There are many possible doors, which one should I choose?'
