Start an Indoor Veggie Garden With Me | Planting seedlings and other fun edible experiments

Today's video is all about starting seeds indoor for beginners to build your own edible garden this spring and summer season! Last year, I started a veggie garden in our apartment for the first time ever. And boy, I learned a lot. I grew tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. I attempted to grow strawberries and blueberries, but sadly those did not make it. As a plant-lover, the whole process was exhilerating... and I'm ready to try again for round 2. It's springtime again - my favorite time of year - and so it's come time to plant the Orchard Upstairs once again. This is truly a video about the basics of starting your own small garden indoors - aka indoor gardening for beginners - because I am taking my key learnings from being a VERY fresh beginner last year, and applying the tips and tricks to growing a garden indoors this year. I'm using an egg carton as my seed starting trays to grow our initial seedlings, which is compostable and biodegradable, and feels more organic. My indoor vegetable garden will start out with the seedlings growing under a grow light. Once they have grown big enough to repot, I will plant them in their own pots and put them out on the fire escape to thrive.
