The HEIDI Project ran a series of "Citizen Science For All Talks" which invites Citizen Scientists to give short, specialist talks in some area relevant to Citizen Science. This one is about Citizen Science and Noise Pollution, and the speakers are Antonella Radicchi and Christian Nold, and took place on Zoom on 26th May 2022. HEIDI, or ‘Digital Actions at HEIs as a catalyst for social change in the COVID-19 crisis’, is a new two-year ERASMUS+ project which aims to upskill Higher Education (HE) staff and students towards more resilience, adaptation to change, and agility that could enable HEIs to work together with citizens to shape better societies. HEIDI aspires to reposition HEIs with respect to society and enable them to become cocreators in solutions to problems that surface in crisis situations (e.g. COVID-19). HEIDI will emphasize in three main forms of Digital Actions (DA): maker culture, citizen science and hacktivism.
