14-year-old shot and killed after argument with stranger on Northeast Side

A teenager is dead after being shot in the street while walking with a friend on the Northeast Side. Officers were called just before 8 p.m. Sunday to a neighborhood on Georges Farm near North Foster Road. Investigators say a 14-year-old and his friend were walking down the street when they got into an argument with a stranger. At some point, that person pulled out a gun and shot the 14-year-old once in the chest before running off. The teen was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.
