We Visited Santa’s Village in the Arctic (1.10)

In this episode of our Valhalla trip, we arrive in Rovaniemi for the next chapter of our Arctic adventure. Our time in Lapland begins with a true test of courage for Walt — an icy polar plunge in the heart of the Finnish winter. After warming back up, we continue the experience with a traditional reindeer sleigh ride, gliding quietly through the snowy forests in a way that has been part of northern life for generations. The adventure continues as we take off across the snow behind an energetic team of huskies, racing through the winter landscape on a thrilling dogsled ride. These incredible Lapland experiences were organized through StayLapland, who helped arrange our reindeer and dogsled activities and made our time in Lapland possible. After a well-earned dinner, we finish our time in Rovaniemi exploring the magical Santa Claus Village, crossing the Arctic Circle and taking in the festive atmosphere of one of the most famous Christmas destinations in the world. From freezing water to racing huskies, Rovaniemi delivered some of the most memorable moments of the entire trip.
