MGB Front Anti-Roll Bar Drop Link; Removal, Checking and Replacement A quick video to start 2022 showing how to remove and replace the front anti roll bar links on an MGB. The drop links are a common MOT failure in the UK; luckily they are not too complicated to replace, the hardest part is usually the lower securing nut. It's important to raise the whole of the front of the car in the air to remove the links. If only one wheel is jacked up there will be pressure on the anti-roll bar. The part numbers for the links are AHH6543A & AHH6544A, it's probably worth replacing these in pairs. Torque given in the manual is 60ft/lbs for the drop link, I think this applies to the top bolt only, I could not get a socket onto the securing nut.
