FFXIV - [SAM] Paradise Lost SAMURAI Ability VFX MOD REMAKE

I’ve been working on this ever since I finished Dragon God, and after five months, it’s finally here! Regarding my design idea, this time I wanted to create a more “elemental”-focused modpack theme. I also wanted to add a unique element tied to it. Similar to how Dragon God had the dragons. So I decided to combine my idea of an elemental pack for SAM with an angelic theme, mix in my favorite GBF character, plus some other references, and thus, Paradise Lost was born! Working with the wings concept was definitely challenging because I knew I wanted “flying” or at least floating-looking animations to accompany it. To achieve that, I spent many… many hours in Blender. Figuring out how to create the winged effect was particularly difficult. Originally, I wanted six wings, but after a lot of testing, I realized that would be too much visually. So I opted for four wings, reserving six wings for the LB3 animation only. Oh, and if you’re wondering why I didn’t share any sneak peeks of this project before releasing it, the reason is simple: throughout its development, I frequently ran into technical barriers that made me doubt I could overcome them.
