The Hometown Hype series focuses on the power of people's personal stories and connections to their hometowns, and features notable locals and residents of four key Georgia cities: Atlanta, Augusta, Macon and Savannah. In each vignette, voters lift up the many reasons they love their communities and the importance of voting. The Augusta, Macon and Savannah chapters of the Hometown Hype series were written by Rohit Malhotra, founder and executive director of the Center for Civic Innovation and filmed by Atlanta-based creative house, On the Grid Creative.
