Ok so a few things (this will be long so if you want the TLDR nutshell - Creative blocks and confidence issues suck ass) Okay firstly I'm sorry this took so long trust me it wasn't intentional. I just wanted to give a little bit of an explanation for two main things. The first being why this took so much longer than the previous two videos and the second one being the sudden direction change in content from Devil May Cry. For the first reason I don't have much of a good reason more so than just an explanation. The obvious statement here is that these types of videos take a lot of time to make especially since I do everything myself, from concept, script writing, gameplay, animation (I know I didn't have any in this one I honestly couldn't figure out how to make it interesting so just didn't bother) and editing. Now I'm not complaining if that's what you're wondering but it does mean that these videos are few and far between. I'm hoping to have a consistent schedule of uploading at least once a month. Now I know that's not the quickest uploading pattern but I want to make sure these videos are done right, made entertaining not only for others but more importantly for myself. Ok so I was originally planning on another DMC video about learning Vergil's gameplay since I'm shit at it. Basically the shift in content suddenly is driven from the fact that I'm getting bored of Devil May Cry. Now this doesn't mean by any stretch of the imagination that I hate the series, it is still my favourite game series of all time and I can say that in confidence until the day I die. The problem stems from the fact that I have played each one of these games barring DMC2, for hours and hours and hours. I've 100% all but one of them and I've done everything I could possibly think of doing that's fun. Now that's not for a lack of trying, I actually intended to create a video about Vergil in DMC3 and the journey to learning him and seeing why he's so popular. Mixing boredom with procrastination and mental issues can make anything suck and I do mean anything. I won't get too deep into it but it basically plays into the reason I said earlier. I went over the footage I had and I could tell that the fact my heart wasn't in it was very clear and knew it wouldn't be something worth making. This doesn't mean I'm quitting DMC or making stuff for it, I just need a break. Who knows, maybe in the future I'll be able to upload that Vergil video but until then I'm moving on. I also want to apologise for the borderline abysmal audio in this video. Was not planned but a lot of the audio from me you hear in this is from May of last year and I didn't know shit about audio control. (still don't but eh) Despite that I hope this is at LEAST watchable compared to the other slop filling up the overflowing bathtub of rot and decay that is gaming topics on the internet.
