Petunia bloom time lapse - a bud that followed lock down and refused a full bloom

This time lapse video shows a Petunia bloom from bud. The video was shot over a period of more than 24 hours. However the flower finally refused to fully bloom and stopped at somewhat 90% open. A botanist friend tells me this is due to inadequate light. Usually petunia family of flowers need a lot of bright light (sunlight) to fully bloom. They start opening up at night and continue till mid morning when the bright daylight finally brings in the full bloom. However this time lapse was shot in a controlled light environment using 2 small led table lamps with homemade soft boxes generating just adequate light to shoot at a reasonable ISO/shutter speed setting. The light was just not bright enough for the flower to fully bloom. Anyone wondering why such poor lighting - Well it was Corona Virus pandemic lockdown and no store was open that sells bright lights and light boxes. Moreover this was my first attempt to time lapse capture a flower blooming. Hoping to improve my skills and show you all better videos in future. Music: https://www.bensound.com
