In this episode of the Ocarina of Time Dungeon Guide, we’re taking on the Spirit Temple — one of the most unique and complex dungeons in the game. Unlike any other temple, the Spirit Temple is split between Child Link and Adult Link. As a child, we’ll team up with Nabooru to recover the Silver Gauntlets, explore light-based puzzles, and face off against a full-sized Iron Knuckle that hits like a truck. Then, after Nabooru’s unexpected kidnapping, we’ll return as Adult Link to tackle the second half of the temple — this time armed with the Silver Gauntlets and ready to claim the Mirror Shield, one of the coolest (and most underappreciated) items in Ocarina of Time. Throughout the run, we’ll take on returning enemies like Anubis and Armos, navigate light-reflection puzzles, and learn a few developer tidbits about the cut Light Temple that might’ve inspired some of these mechanics. The dungeon wraps up with one of the most entertaining boss fights in the game — the Twinrova Sisters, a fire-and-ice tag team that fuses into a single powerful witch. Using the Mirror Shield to absorb and unleash their elemental attacks, we’ll end the fight in true cinematic style.
