I've always loved the stark harmonies of shape-note singing, so it was love at first hearing for me with "What Wondrous Love Is This." Not to mention it has some pretty deep words. I was trying to think of ways to portray the love of God in a solo harp music video. I got to thinking about the words to verse 3 ("And when from death I'm free...") and that led me to the graveyard. It is not a place of fear or mourning for me. Being in the cemetery reminds me that my time on this planet is limited and also fills me with awe (and thankfulness) that Jesus "bore the curse that was on my soul." I can walk in freedom now.
