Storm Bram hit Scotland hard this week, and our homestead didn't escape the damage. In this episode, we deal with the aftermath of 90mph winds that took down the oldest pear tree in our garden and wrecked our field fencing. It’s heartbreaking to lose a mature tree, but on a homestead, there isn't much time to mourn. You have to grab the chainsaw and get to work. We’re turning this disaster into next winter's heat and using the opportunity to completely change the layout of our garden.
