Join us for the WHS Opening Night, marking the official start of the World Health Summit. This special evening is a unique opportunity to bring together participants, panelists, and the WHS Academic Alliance (formerly M8 Alliance) to connect, celebrate, and strengthen international friendships and cooperation in global health. Replacing the traditional Opening Ceremony, this event will feature a brief address from the President of the World Health Summit, Prof. Axel Pries, introducing this year’s theme, "Building Trust for a Healthier World." The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, will also offer welcome remarks, setting the tone for the Summit's upcoming sessions.
