Ed Cherry is a legendary jazz guitarist known for his work with Dizzy Gillespie from 1978 to 1992, and for his own recordings and projects as a band leader since that time. He is widely known as for his melodicism, exuding a deep expressiveness on the guitar attributed to great singers such as Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and Frank Sinatra. Last night's January 13th performance was fabulous - but also the MOST INTIMATE Mezzrow performance yet!
