The trio allegedly subjected Kemboi to a beating, falsely accusing him of theft, which led to the tragic incident. Despite not reporting the incident to the police, the suspects were identified through a viral video capturing the them. Rongai DCIO Donata Otieno stated that investigations are ongoing, with the suspects set to face legal proceedings upon conclusion.
