Super odd fact: In all my time watching song list videos, this is the very first time that I noticed Dazzle's song jacket is supposed to be showing a deer. I always thought it was the tail fin of a fish! Straight from one of my least favorite mixes to one of my favorites, this one was really interesting to go through. One of the reasons why being that it just feels super solid from beginning to end, with a variety of licenses, and some great original songs and BEMANI crossovers. Glad Konami was more lenient with console crossovers for this one, seeing as they even purposely included Universe 3 songs for the only time in the series (Concertino in Blue crossed over to multiple Bemani games, which made it fair game for A3, so that doesn't count.). So many songs that I love from the X series coincidentally come from this game, so that may also be part of my bias. Considering that the first X game focused on celebrating the series, this mix continues that tradition, with a number of Dancemania songs revived with new cuts, songs from older games getting remixes, and most notably, a number of songs receive BG videos based on the random movies used in the MAX era. Me being a sucker for those movies also adds to my love for this game. It featuring every song from X(besides the X-mixes) also helps in its favor, as well as reviving some songs that were removed from that game.
