Experience and participate in music together - even in times of physical distance due to the corona crisis : With "together now! The Austrian Soundcloud" the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna together with the ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) gives people all over Austria the opportunity to make their connection musically visible and audible from their windows, balconies and living rooms in a virtual concert. All Austria was called upon to become part of a gigantic "cloud of sound" on 1 May 2020 at 6 p.m., to make music and sing with a joint programme in order to set an unmistakable sign of being together. From well over a hundred home recordings by students and teachers of the mdw, in cooperation with numerous departments and facilities of the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, an artistically high-quality production has been created, which, when it was broadcast on 1 May on ORF III at 6 pm, invited viewers to join in and sing along.
