In today’s video, I take you with me to explore Granada, Spain — a stunning city in the southern region of Andalucía, known for its rich Islamic history, vibrant Muslim community, and beautiful architecture. This Granada, Spain vlog is all about the must-see places, hidden gems, and Muslim-friendly spots that make this destination so unforgettable. I start my day wandering the beautiful alleyways filled with Moorish-style clothing shops, halal food spots, and the sights and smells of Moroccan and Andalusian culture. If you’re Muslim, Arab, Desi, or just someone looking to reconnect with the deep history of Islam in Spain — Granada is a must-visit. Of course, no trip to Granada is complete without visiting the breathtaking Alhambra Palace. Once home to the Nasrid Dynasty, this palace is one of the finest examples of Islamic art and architecture in Europe. Later, I visit the Albaicín, the old Muslim quarter with cobblestone streets, white buildings, and scenic hilltop views. I eat at a cozy Palestinian restaurant, try local halal-friendly ice cream, and walk through the souks and bazaars filled with handcrafted goods. Granada is so walkable, peaceful, and safe — and the presence of Moroccan and North African Muslims in the community makes it feel like a home away from home.
