I'm sure I'll discuss it more when/if I post speedruns for it, but I've been waiting for some sort of patch since its release, which seems to not be coming, because I think it's just painfully unenjoyable. Most of those reasons are due to the map design quirks... cyberdemons in every map when they don't make sense to be there... those terrible 30 second limit secrets... Idk. These maps are also just harsh on the eyes. They're so damn dark but then what is visual is jagged and so heavily textured. And the music doesn't help at all. These midis are good but they're just as harsh as the visuals. Like I wouldn't want to play more than one map in a sitting. I keep expecting these midis to grow on me but they just havent so I have a hard time commenting on them much or choosing a favorite. I think the original Sigil was just better, especially with its soundtrack. I love every one of those midis. But these I just don't feel much connection with. I don't want to come off like I'm trashing Sigil II though. I wan't to make it clear, despite their flaws these maps are great and a lot of talent went in to them. John Romero had a style in mind which hasn't really been done before, and he executed it in a way only he could. And these midis do fit the maps about as well as they possibly could. Jimmy always knows how to perfectly match a vibe.
