The Wounds That Speak is a modern underground Christian metal / heavy-worship project built around one central goal: glorify God and proclaim the Gospel through heavy music. It sits in the lane often called “white metal revival” the newer wave of artists mixing worship themes with metalcore, melodic death, and hardcore influences instead of soft CCM. Think church theology underground heaviness rather than radio rock. 📀 Discography (chronological) 1) Buried to Breathing — EP (2025) 4 tracks • Metal Tracks: Buried to Breathing Confess the Christ With Him We Walk My Shield, My Glory Sound: fast, punchy, evangelical metalcore Theme: conversion, repentance, new life (Romans-type theology) 2) PRAISE — EP (2026) 4 tracks Tracks: Man of Sorrows Jesus is Alive O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer BELIEVIN’ IT (Rev 19:6) Sound: heavier worship + some acoustic worship elements Theme: resurrection, Christ’s kingship, praise 🧠 What Makes Him Interesting (for Christian metal fans) 1) He’s unapologetically evangelistic A lot of bands are Christian-inspired This project is Christian-proclaiming It literally cites Bible verses inside songs That puts it closer to sermon-metal than just faith-influenced art. 2) It brings worship back into heavy music Most modern heavy Christian bands: either soften theology or drop worship language This project does the opposite: breakdowns + praise lyrics That’s closer to early Christian metal’s intent — preaching through extreme music. 3) It fills a missing niche in the scene Today’s Christian heavy scene tends to split: 4. Why Christian Metal Fans Specifically Should Listen Because it answers a problem many believers in heavy music feel: “I want metal that actually proclaims Christ, not just hints at Him.” This project: teaches doctrine quotes Scripture stays musically heavy feels modern rather than nostalgic It’s basically the street evangelism version of metal.
