Set aside. Roughly chop up the lettuce and add it to a large mixing bowl. Thinly slice half a red onion and add that onions to the bowl. Add the halved tomatoes, halved black olives, pepperoncini peppers, and croutons to the bowl. Gently toss the salad to evenly spread the ingredients. Divide the salad into 4 equal portions into salad bowls. Grate fresh Parmesan cheese onto the top of each salad. Serve and enjoy!
