Castlevania (NES) Vampire Killer - Vintage video game bass covers by BUTABI ** HALLOWEEN SPECIAL **

Inspired by my buddy and guitar hero @Miles Meakin who does a lot of cool guitar stuff on Youtube, I thought it would be a fun thing to jam some old school video game tracks on my bass. I see this is as a way of practising between gigs and recordings with my band, so let's just see where this little route will take us. First out is "Vampire Killer" from the 1986 NES game Castlevania (Composer: Kinuyo Yamashita). I chose it mainly cause I think it's a really kickass and well composed track, plus I thought it would be a fitting song for the upcoming Halloween season. I also enjoyed this game growing up, although I never made it past those damned Medusa heads on stage 2 (if you know you know....gaaaah). My bass track and the video were recorded in The Jungle Room of HARD TO GET STUDIOS. I exclusively use basses from Sandberg Guitars. In this video I pumped my California VM4.
