Welcome to Episode 1 of Soaring Spirits! Meet Topher Mira and Dave Metzgar at Torrey Pines Gliderport in La Jolla, California. In this intro episode, we will touch upon some of the things that our channel will be covering! Topher is looking for Dave to see if he can fly in a paraglider. Dave is a falconer, and has some beautiful Lanner Falcons that are trained to fly with paragliders a.k.a. parahawking! We will explain soaring with a paraglider as we try to stay aloft.
