Did the Suns commentators just totally put Igor Kokoskov on blast at 0:42 of this video? It was said like a joke, but I don't think I've ever heard a home commentary person just straight up criticize a coach like that. Not by name, at least. Usually it's like "I know it's tough but you have to find minutes for this guy" or "when he gets on the court, he produces". Indirect stuff like that. Not like this. I guess the idea, now that Isaiah Canaan has been waived, is that Elie Okobo will get more minutes at PG. Maybe it was a move the FO made to force Kokoskov's hand, to force him to play Okobo, because the Suns are now totally lacking in point guards. Him and De'Anthony Melton, that's it. Devin Booker is shouldering some of the traditional PG responsibilities, and maybe Jamal Crawford could too, but Okobo is going to have to step up. He did, tonight. Can you say "career high"?
