CLS65 Compact Five Section Light / Flash Stand From Cotswold Photo
If you're after a compact light stand for your flash / strobes, the Cotswold Photo CLS65 is well worth a look. With five sections, and legs that fold back on themselves, this light stand folds up to 495mm, yet can reach up to 2180mm high. Very similar to the Bogen / Manfrotto 5001b or the Lumopro LP604, but a lot cheaper (about £30), the CLS 65 is not to be confused with the budget 3 section stands, it folds smaller and is considerably more stable. Remember that you'll also need an umbrella bracket to hold your flash and light modifier. I got two for Christmas, and I've been very happy with them, I'll probably do the strobist mod and add a simple strap to make carrying them easier, but as of now I have to say I'd recommend them.
