While attempting to check the power steering fluid levels on my Cayenne, I discovered my hood release was broken. I was forced to look up the location of the emergency hood release pull cable. Luckily, I was able to access it without having to remove anything from the car, except a dozen or so screws. Considering the instructions say you may need to remove the passenger tire, I was pretty happy with just the screws. After getting the hood open, I was then able to determine the plastic hood release bracket was broken. After quickly looking up the part number on the bracket, I ordered a new one and patiently waited for its arrival. Get Canva and start creating!
