Putin says Ukraine counter-offensive failed with heavy losses, American and German tanks destroyed

A recently released video shows Russian forces destroying American-made Bradleys and German-made Leopard tanks in Russia's Zaporozhye Region. Colonel-General Aleksandr Romanchuk reported that Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses, including over 30 tanks and up to 350 personnel, during an overnight offensive. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that Ukraine lost up to 1,240 troops and 39 tanks in 24 hours. These losses add to the toll incurred during a week when Kyiv launched its long-expected counteroffensive. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukrainian troops failed to reach their goals.
