This session is an important opportunity to continue engagement in the development of the LSIP as it responds to the Local Growth Plan (LGP) and how engagement with the business community will shape the next phase of the LSIP. Your involvement is vital in ensuring the plan remains responsive to the needs of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The session will provide an overview of the LSIP, highlight key priorities, and create space for discussion on how collaboration with employers and stakeholders can strengthen local skills provision. This event is for Local Authorities, County Councils, NGOs, BROs, ITPs, and any organisation with an interest in the future skills workforce. Dr. Glenn Athey (Strategy Expert and Qualitative Research Lead): Glenn has over 30 years of experience in economic development and labour market analysis and strategy. He was the interim Director of Greater Cambridgeshire & Greater Peterborough LEP and led the East of England Development Agency’s regional observatory programme, Insight East. Glenn was Senior Labour Market Economist for Futureskills Scotland and in recent years has delivered the Tay Cities Regional Skills Action Plan (2025) and Forth Valley Regional Skills Action Plan (2024), and Warwickshire Employment and Skills Strategy and Action Plan (2025). Supported by the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP).
