Heavy Smash: The Future Sports Arcade

Heavy Smash follows the rules of handball, though with no fouls, with players being able to tackle opponents and even using projectile attacks. Each team lines up with a goalkeeper, two players in line in defense, two in line in attack and a player in the center of the field with the task of both setting up the offensive maneuver and acting as a filter to help the defense. There are side walls at the sides of the field, so that the ball never leaves the playing field. You can hit the ball on the fly with overhead kicks, diving and elevation headers, and you can also use the side walls to make crosses into the area. The team which scores more goals during the 90 seconds game wins, with a 30 seconds sudden death occurring in case of a tie. There are ten selectable teams available, each team being composed of five field players and a goalkeeper and having their own stats for speed, power and defense. The first button shoots the ball in the opposing goal's direction. If the player isn't holding the ball it will instead execute a tackle. The second button jumps and the third button passes the ball to another player of the same team. Each team has a power gauge which refills automatically during the game, once it is full if the player is holding the ball it can execute a power shoot which knocks away opposing team players and varies with each team. If the player isn't holding the ball it can consume the power gauge to use a projectile attack.
