Mid shot of relatives surrounding at flower-decorated coffin STORYLINE Relatives, friends and classmates on Sunday attended the funeral for a 12-year-old boy killed when rebel sympathisers bombed two buses in the capital of Colombia. Dozens of residents and mourners waited in the streets of Bogota to pay their last respects to Daniel Alberto Beltran as his coffin was transported under police escort to the church for the funeral service. A marching band played sombre music as funeral procession, fronted by priests and the grieving parents, entered the church. Beltran was killed on Thursday when homemade bombs exploded almost simultaneously on two buses in working-class neighbourhoods. On Saturday, a second child - 10-year-old Bryan Romero - died of burns suffered in the bombings. Police said the attacks, which injured more than 20 people, were likely orchestrated by urban militias sympathetic to Colombia''s oldest rebel group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. President Alvaro Uribe offered a reward of about 45-thousand US dollars for information leading to the arrest of the attackers and police said they were looking for four suspects, all under the age of 25. The FARC had previously launched attacks on Bogota as part of its four-decade effort to overthrow the government.
