Megan Bilson is Vice President, Global Learning Solutions at American Express. In this role, she leads the effort to re-imagine and transform Learning across the global organization. Prior to American Express, Megan was the Global Head of Learning, Talent and Professional Development at Citigroup. During her tenure, Megan created and executed the global learning strategy and solutions in support of multiple corporate functions and the firm overall. In addition, she partnered with and counseled C-level clients and their staff to assess needs and align interventions, and to develop strategy in support of organizational goals. Prior to joining Citigroup in 2011, Megan worked for The Hershey Company as their Global Head of Leadership Development. While there, she created the Leadership Competency model and the Leadership Development programs for First Line Leaders and Leaders of Leaders, and designed and developed the annual Executive Leadership programs. Megan served as a Senior Learning Consultant at Hewlett Packard from 2001-2009 where she led Learning teams in the Technical, Sales, Leadership, Program/Project Management and Corporate Functions areas. In her early career, Megan was a systems engineer and technical instructor, consulting with various organizations throughout the United Kingdom. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Keene State College and is currently finishing her master’s degree in educational technology. Megan lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with her husband and four boys.
