This short preview of Restoration Renegades features our "Adventurer" highlighting a few of the more common damages found after a house fire. Heat damages ceiling fans, smoke ruins drywall, and extensive water damage from the hoses used to extinguish the fire. A small fire, even if it is contained to the kitchen, can cause extensive damage to the entire property. Especially when the smoke reaches the intake vents of the HVAC. That is how smoke damage permeates into the bedrooms and closets. This sort of damage results in a layer of soot coating everything in the house. Soot damage isn't always easy to clean up. If it is produced by certain materials it may be sticky and therefore require special measures to be cleaned off of the contents of the home. An uninformed, or ill-equipped restoration company may just throw out personal effects damaged in this way. However, Dalworth Restoration has a Contents Facility just for this purpose. This short clip of Restoration Renegades features Jeremy and our Director of Operations, Cody Baker discussing what can be expected when the restoration is complete.
