Herrmann Ultrasonics high-speed ultrasonic laboratory calender (ULC500) for nonwovens, textiles, films with speed up to 600m/min (2,000ft/min). Ultrasonic capabilities include lamination, attachment, embossing and perforating with standard anvil rolls available at Herrmann Ultrasonics. The independent servo speed controls allow for precious web unwinding and rewinding. Features include automated web alignment, ionizer, pneumatic or force load tension controls to ensure maximum web control. Print viewing capabilities allow for monitoring running trials. DATA collection, microscopy and pull strength test systems ensure optimized process parameters settings during the trials. The ultrasonic products in the laboratory include the entire range of actuators VE MICROBOND CSI, VE MICROBOND RSD with ULTRASPIN and VE EASYBOND CSI.
