Learn how to import and export CSV data in your PowerShell automation scripts! PowerShell has two built-in commands that enable you to import data from the local filesystem, or export arbitrary PowerShell objects back to the filesystem. You can use CSV to represent any kind of simple data, without having to install any additional modules or software beyond PowerShell itself. The Import-Csv command allows you to specify a custom delimiter character, if your CSV file doesn't actually use a comma as its separator.
