This is the fourth Randomizer of Randomizer Month! Minish Cap was one of the first Randomizers I got into and, especially now with its relatively recent probably a year old long awaited update, I do think it's my favorite of the Zelda Randomizers. With Open Fusions in play it's very fast paced with a lot of checks all over the overworld and also every dungeon is full of them, especially if you turn on Rupeesanity which I absolutely recommend. It's very fun, has great items, and the shrinking gimmick was cool as well. For this particular Randomizer I made sure to specifically make it so that all dungeons were required to be beaten to beat the seed. Usually since only the 4 element dungeons would be required it would max out at 4 despite having 5 but I tried to make sure in the logic that the 5th dungeon would have something essential. That didn't quite work out but it was still required for Dark Hyrule Castle so that's fun. Also I ended by kicking Vaati's ass which was, in previous versions of the Randomizer, too much of a todo to bother with. Satisfying but also... hard. As I played I talked about a good amount of stuff. There was Sony's Actually Good State of Play and housekeeping stuff to talk about, sure, but the main side topics were clearly hot new release Mewgenics and hot new rebrand Overwatch. Talked a bunch about those, free to play shooters in general, the other games getting lost in their shadow and a whole lot else as I made my way through the Rando. Chatting with chat is fun and I hope you enjoy the reasonably relevant banter. We're halfway through Randomizer Month, the month of Randomizer programming I'm doing this month, Banjo-Tooie is next. I am excited since I love that game, hopefully it makes for a good Randomizer that I can complete in one go. 00:00 - Introduction 14:54 - The Randomizer Starts Swordlessly 28:10 - The Randomizer Really Gets Going 03:21:34 - The Randomizer But With Fast Travel 03:45:04 - Late Game Randomizer, Now With Running 05:09:10 - Go Mode!
