Join more than 1,000 men becoming more alpha and assertive: https://bit.ly/Power-University This is a good example of a dominant man in a relationship. Specifically, how a dominant man handles relationship drama. The woman was likely a borderline personality or, in common parlance, a "drama queen". However, this video is NOT a perfect case study of correct behavior (or proper behavior). He definitely does a few things right and we can't deny he is a dominant man, both in general and in his relationship. But he also does a few things wrong and, at times, he behaves overly dominant and borderline abusive. This is something I said a few times over at ThePowerMoves.com. But "dominant" per se is not synonymous with good, admirable, effective, or even leader-like. Dominance can be used effectively and emanate from an otherwise positive leader. As a matter of fact, it's much healthier to see dominance as a CONSEQUENCE of your behavior, demeanor, system of values, etc. (ie.: who you are). Or it can be used destructively in a way that leads to LESS power. This an example of the latter. From the very beginning, the woman's behavior clearly communicates that he is in charge. Yet, he is FORCING her to behave more and more rebelliously, leading to more drama, a physical escalation and the end of the relationship. Worst of all, he lost control of the situation and left himself with little options. Now he is forced to keep his word and end the relationship for good (even if he didn't really want to). If he accepts her back, he reneges his own word and opens the door to a toxic relationship in which he less and less the leader of. Overall, this was a failure of leadership. ----- A good scene though, very realistic and with lots to learn from. On average, non-Hollywood movies are more reflective of real life, and better to understand human behavior, social skills, and power dynamics than your typical Hollywood movie. --------------------------- Learn about alpha male traits: https://thepowermoves.com/alpha-male/ Subscribe to TPM: http://bit.ly/TPM-Subscribe Learn how true leadership looks like in the full course: https://bit.ly/Power-University
