Kokila grew up outside a collector’s office, watching her father run a pushcart, repeating the word collector without knowing it would one day shape her dream. When Kokila first walked into a U&I classroom, she couldn’t introduce herself in English, couldn’t speak even one sentence, but someone showed up for her, again and again, four days a week, refusing to let her give up on herself. Today, she’s a Political Science undergraduate, mentoring children at the same centre she once learned in, preparing for government exams and daring to imagine a future once out of reach… and this is only the beginning.
