Tournament season is back y'all! Jimmy and I are going to be fishing the Clarks Hill Classic Super Six Shootout Series together this year. The first stop pitted us against 50 plus other boats in early February. We had an uncharacteristically warm day which led to some thick fog. We ended up catching a bunch of fish and had a decent bag, but we just never got the truly big bite that we needed. Looking forward to fishing as many of these as we can this year! It gives us a shot at fishing the BASS Nation Team Championship this Fall/Winter. If we did well enough in that tournament, we would be fishing for a shot in the BASSMASTER CLASSIC! Been leaning heavily on the ALX Zolo McSmalls and Zolo Hover lately while scoping. I can't say enough good things about them. They provided a great one-two punch for chasing fish with forward facing sonar.
