Ryan Routh, the man convicted of trying to assassinate then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in 2024, was sentenced to life in prison. Routh also received a consecutive seven-year sentence for one of his gun convictions, the Associated Press reported. Last year, Routh was found guilty of five federal criminal counts in the case.
