Hello everyone, and welcome to yet another Skytrax 5 Star Airline: All Nippon Airways! We’re flying today on their Boeing 787-9 from Haneda to Delhi. According to Skytrax “the world’s 4th best airline in 2024”. Yeah, I can tell you already that I disagree.. While ANA stands for quality and “Inspiration of Japan”, and I truly enjoy the airline on my trips to Japan, it failed to meet my expectations on this particular journey to India, as well as what was that of many around me. India is the country with most vegetarians and Hindus in the world. So what is the point of serving beef on such a flight? Or not to have any movie of what is world’s biggest cinema producer? Airlines all over the world are battling it out to attract as many South Asian customers as possible. And many will offer an adapted service to meet all needs and requirements, except for what I saw on ANA! So, while ANA has a lot of strengths, and offers a true Japanese service, it also has a big amount of shortfalls. Join me and see for yourself. Have a lot of fun and thank you for being here!
