In an interview on Metro TV’s News Beat, Comrade Martin, a Nigerian Journalist, and Political Analyst commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the good work done in the build-up to the nation’s general election. Additionally, he stated the upcoming election will determine the future of Africa’s most populous nation. Nigerian Journalist and Political Analyst, Comrade Martin gave credit to INEC for making the preparations for the election much easier. In previous years, there had been issues with the collection of voter’s cards, citizens finding it difficult to identify their polling stations and others not knowing how to vote. INEC has developed an online platform to help eligible voters with the identification of their polling units in each state. This platform has been running for the past 3 to 4 weeks, Comrade Martin reveals.
