The KRS 58 "Bandit" is an 8x8 truck in SnowRunner introduced in the Explore & Expand DLC and in the base game of Expeditions. The Bandit is primarily based on the P8WD GEOLKOM, a custom built off-road vehicle with half of a PAZ-3206 bus body mounted on a stretched GAZ-66 frame with an 8x8 powertrain. The Bandit shares many similar traits with the GEOLKOM including a built in crane, sideboard bed, and large spot light centered between each windshield. The Bandit also has many visual differences from its real world counterpart. Unlike its real world counterpart using a PAZ bus body the Bandit's cab appears to be based on a TS-3965 bus body. This is evident by the Bandits angled front nose as opposed to a completely smooth front end. The Bandits front windshield is a bit larger overall and features sharp downward angles in the top center instead of the square design seen in the TS-3965. The Bandit's headlights and grill are based on the PAZ-3206 instead. The Bandit's side windows also are based on the window design from a PAZ-3206 but the cab uses sharper square like edges like a TS-3965. The Bandit does have a few minor weaknesses. Its fuel tank size is relatively small and though it is fairly fuel efficient without engine upgrades, its economy becomes fairly poor with larger engines. Its light mass can also cause it to struggle to gain traction in mud making it dependent on low gears to prevent wheel spin, but it is still more than capable with a little patience. Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is avehicle simulation game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. A spin-off game in the MudRunner series, it was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S. Similar to previous games in the series, the player must drive a variety of all-terrain vehicles through treacherous roads in the wilderness. However, unlike its predecessors, the game focuses on exploring instead of transporting cargo. In the game, players lead scientific expeditions to three distinct environments set in Little Colorado, Arizona, and Carpathian Mountains in Central Europe. Each map in the game is a large, open environment filled with optional objectives, though freeroam mode is not unlocked until players complete each map's expedition mission. Expeditions introduces a number of new tools, including jackscrews which flip over players' cars, metal detectors and camera drones which allow players to scout the environment and find valuable caches, and sonar detector which helps detect the depth of water. Players can also attach a winch to a tree or any rock surface, enabling the vehicle to scale steep cliffs.As players progress in the game, they need to expand their base camp's research structure and trade sites, unlocking new tools and recruiting new non-playable characters to aid their missions. ........................................
