We had a chat with Luis from *Patching Panda*, who gave us a look at *Patterns*, a new 4-channel, 8-speed trigger sequencer for Eurorack. Each channel offers up to 64 steps and includes key rhythm-shaping tools like probability, swing, step length, and easy pattern clearing. The module also allows instant pattern switching via a 60-slot pattern memory and can chain sequences into song mode. Pattern switching can be done manually or with CV, enabling more dynamic and glitchy transitions. The compact format makes it easy to integrate multiple sequencers into a small rack. Inputs include clock, reset, and pattern chain, while outputs cover four trigger channels plus clock and reset outs. Luis also showed us an unnamed complex oscillator module featuring dual analog VCOs with through-zero modulation, wave shaping, and quantization. Each oscillator has its own sequenced modulation, preset slots, and snapshot switching, allowing evolving tonal shifts and rhythmic melodies.
